Rules

A public leaderboard with no ads, no editorial curation and no algorithm. You pay to stand above everyone else, and the number beside a listing is the ranking.

The boards

How ranking works

Starting standing
₦5,000
Step size
₦100
Above #1 to oust
5%
Minimum step up
₦2,500
  • Ousting #1 costs 5% more than the current leader, with a floor of ₦2,500. On a quiet board the floor applies; on a contested one the percentage does. A flat fee would make the top spot flip on pocket change once the leader is large.
  • Paying less than #1 still puts you on the board, at whatever rank the amount can take.
  • Equal amounts keep the order they were placed in. The listing that got there first keeps the higher rank, so matching a holder never takes their position.
  • Already listed? Enter the same URL or handle again to raise. Checkout charges only the difference, and nobody else can take your rank by paying that same difference.
  • A single standing tops out at ₦500,000,000.

Auto-defend

A defence moves one position only

One payment can never set off a chain of charges nobody agreed to.

Set a ceiling on a listing you hold and the board will defend it for you. When someone moves to oust you, we rebid the minimum needed to keep your position and charge the difference to your card, up to the ceiling you set. Above that, the rank changes hands.

What you can list

Accepted

  • A product website.
  • An X handle. Profile URLs and bare handles resolve to one identity.
  • App Store, Play Store and GitHub links, keyed by their path — so two products on one platform never share a rank.

Refused

  • Chat and invite links: Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal.
  • Sexual content.
  • Link shorteners. Submit the destination instead.

Query strings are stripped from every link, so affiliate and tracking URLs cannot fork one rank into two.

Money

Ranks are set in naira, because a ladder needs one ordering scale and two currencies competing for the same position would reshuffle the board every time the rate moved. You are charged in your own currency at the rate shown at checkout, and that rate is locked onto your payment. Which cards go through is a property of the processor we settle with, not of the ranking.

A completed payment is what claims a rank. Payments are not refundable. If the board moves between the moment you are quoted and the moment your payment settles, your money still counts and you take whatever rank it now buys.

After you pay

Your listing is public. Clicks go to the URL or profile you submitted, with your own tracking parameters stripped and ours added, so the traffic shows up in your analytics as coming from Oust rather than from nowhere. Paying means you agree to the Terms and the Privacy Policy.
