How do I oust the number one?

Enter your URL and an amount at least 5% above the current leader, with a minimum step of ₦2,500. Pay, and the rank is yours the moment the payment settles.

Do I pay the full amount again when I raise?

No. Checkout charges only the difference between your current standing and the new one. Nobody else can take your rank by paying that same difference, because they are quoted against your full standing.

What happens if the board moves while I am paying?

Your payment still counts and you take whatever rank it buys at the moment it settles. We never reject a completed payment, because that would mean refunding money that has already moved.

What happens if someone ousts me?

You drop to whatever rank your standing still buys. If you set an auto-defend ceiling and left a card on file, the board rebids for you automatically up to that ceiling and charges only the difference.

Why does my rank fall when nobody ousted me?

On the all-time board it does not. On the heat board every payment halves in value every 30 days, so a rank bought once cools on its own. Your listing shows both numbers and the date it is projected to fall.

How do I pay?

Checkout runs on Paystack and shows the payment options available to you. Ranks are set in naira because a ladder needs one ordering scale, and you are charged in your own currency at the rate shown at checkout, locked onto your payment. If a payment does not go through, nothing is charged and no rank moves, so you can simply try another option.

Are payments refundable?

No. A completed payment is what claims a rank, and refunding one would mean unwinding a position other people have already bid against.

Question 8

Can I list an X profile instead of a website?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Enter the handle and it becomes its own listing. Profile URLs and bare handles resolve to the same identity, so you cannot accidentally hold two ranks for one account.

Why was my link rejected?

Accepted Answer

Chat and invite links, adult content and link shorteners are refused. Submit the destination URL rather than a shortener, and a product or profile rather than a group chat.
